FOR INVITATIONALS:
Athletes are often expected to find their own transportation to and from invitationals, which are often on the weekends. Come in your running gear as there are few places if any to change.
For races that occur at Newhall park on school days athletes must walk in small groups to the park. First meet in the locker rooms and change into running gear. Gather in small groups and head to the park as soon as you are changed. DO NOT WALK TO THE PARK ALONE. Athletes are not allowed to drive to the park. It is often asked that athletes head over as soon as possible in order to help set up the meet by doing small and easy tasks.

Scoring
Frosh/Soph and JV runners run with all DVAL teams, yet only score against those that Varsity scores against on that day.
Varsity runners only race with half of the league as determined by the given race number, 1 or 2. They only score against one or two teams except at the League championship in November.
